Maintenance on trucks

Reference - Scania Netherlands

Laszlo has been successfully employed as a truck mechanic via TPS at Scania since August 2023. Scania's service manager says that Laszlo's work started with simpler maintenance in the workshop, but he has quickly proven himself as a reliable mechanic who can also handle more complex tasks and repairs. He now also focuses on modifying electronics and exhausts, including NOX sensors. His good command of English and his effective communication make him a valuable team player. Laszlo is always punctual, works neatly and carefully, and treats his tools with care.

After a strict selection by TPS, Laszlo was carefully guided within Scania to ensure that he would fit in well with the team. This is important because good cooperation is crucial in the workshop. In addition to Laszlo's technical experience and background, Scania was impressed by his calm and reliable personality during the video interview. These qualities, together with his smooth integration into the team, have contributed to his successful deployment.

Laszlo will learn more about troubleshooting under the guidance of an experienced chief mechanic in the coming period, which will be an important step in his professional development.

TPS services for Scania Netherlands

Our role is to support Scania in their search for qualified truck mechanics for the long term. At the end of 2022, agreements were made between TPS and Scania to address the shortage of personnel. Scania was struggling to find suitable candidates for more than 80 open positions spread across more than 34 workshops in the Netherlands. Since the beginning of 2023, we have launched several marketing campaigns to recruit mechanics that specifically match Scania’s needs. These efforts have already resulted in many successful placements at different locations.
